My dad was born on October 6th, 1929. He took title to the GSX on 11-17-71. That made him 42 years old and 42 days. I was born on October 12th, 1961. That makes me 42 years and 42 days old today! I'm the same age as my dad when he first got the car. And I can remember thinking at the time that he was *TOO OLD* to be buying such a cool car! ou: OK, it's a weird kinda math, but I find it pretty cool. o No:

Just happened to be looking at the title, noticed the date, wondered how old my father was at the time, did some math... What can I say? I'm a nerd.

My dad has kept a newspaper clipping from when his father passed away when he was 14 years old. He cut it out of the newspaper, just larger than it needed to be. Maybe 4" x 3" total size. My step mom was going through some of my dads stuff about 8 years ago and found that clipping. On the back side of the clipping, was HER OWN BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT! (yes.. my dad is 14 years older then my step mom) How's that for freaky!?!? :eek2:
