1957 Roadmaster Tire Size Hey Leon The Original Bias-Belted tire size for Your '57 Buick Roadmaster was/is 800x15. If You go to the coker tire website or any of the Classic Tire Mfgrs on the Hemmings website they usually have tire conversion charts for different sizes of Wide Whites. A 3 Inch white wall is probably the standard for a '57 Last year I purchased a set of Five 3' wide white Radials from Diamondback Tire. They were a bit cheeper and I'm Estatic about their Superior Apperance, Tread Design and Handling qualities. Check out their website and you will get a good idea of what is available. Regards, Tom Gallagher
i thought that the whitewalls were maybe 2" in '57 . my grandpa had a new 57 pontiac and if i remember correctly, the whitewalls were about 2" .
correct in 57 the "gangster" whites where not used(3") - I don't have the exact width at my fingertips but the 2" size would be close. It is of course not uncommon to see the "gangster" or wider whites used on these cars.
