    Hi All,

Where are the timing teeth on a '69 350 supposed to be located? I managed to find them directly underneath my water pump (between the drive pulley and pump pulley), and in such a position that I couldn't even pretend to read the marks on the teeth. I wasn't even able to see them using a small mirror. Are the teeth supposed to be mounted on the side, as I've seen on other GM motors?

I certainly hope so; otherwise I'm at a loss on how to accurately time the system (i.e. not using vacuum timing methods).
