I clicked the "comit to buy" in the v8Classifieds section for a set of banged up headers. 66skylark3504 then backed out and re-listed the headers... http://www.v8buick.com/vbclassified.php?do=user&userid=17978
Is there some guideline that bans someone from posting classifieds if they abuse the honor system this way? Devon
Sean, make sure you use the board feature to give him neg feedback...may be the only mechanism to warn off others. Devon
Thanks Devon, will do He listed it as fixed price at $100 so I comited sight unseen without worry about the apearance of the headers. We talked about shipping payments and I just needed a shipping total to add onto the $100 and we were set. couple days goes by, hear nothing then notice hes re-listed them starting at $175 now..... I have 5 sets of Buick 350 headers all without dents, but thats not the point. No skin off my back but just be warned of this seller.
Apparently these headers would make a good retirement investment as they seem to increase in value dramatically. They're now starting at $200.00. Devon
and just to say he never contacted me back said he needed them asap i never told him i would sell him.. i called the company they are willing to give me full price and that 380$ back so ya your little 100 dollars means nothing to me
Allright, let's cool down the rhetoric a bit... So what's the story, did you not list these headers the first time with a $100 fixed price, which Sean commited to buy?
Gee, i think I'm siding with the guy who doesn't seem like an immature jerk on this one.o No: -- Steve
It would seem if you offered them with a buy-it-now, you did say you would sell them to him........or anyone else who hit the "commit to buy". Rick
This is not needed in our community. I would think that actions like has occurred here would forfeit the ability to even sell here. The listing should be taken off and deleted all together. My $.02 worth, even thought you only offered a penny for my thoughts... Mike
