We did a demo dragrace on the F1 circuit Spa Franchorchamps in 2006, a lot of cars had traction problems. The Orange Road Runner is a 4 speed manual, comes from my town also nice guy. Normally on a good track when he shifts all 4 wheels come loose of the ground all at the same time, its really strange to see! And its a hell of a drive to keep this bad traction baby straight. Well.. short story, on this track in SPA.. the traction was bad, I had no trouble with the Buick strangly enough. Well me and the Roadrunner are going to make a pass together, and see what happens.. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/91ch-j-bj1o&hl=nl&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/91ch-j-bj1o&hl=nl&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
No no! That was an problem also the next day..we made 42 runs that weekend, and lost 2 times. We had trouble finding cars to run against us, because they didn't found it fun anymore.
There was a guy had a 440 SIX PACK Challenger used to do that...on that car it was the way the carbs were set up that caused it, I thought. Bert
The owner of this R"Runner, refuses to upgrade the suspension to make i work better. He finally convinced him self to update the steerhousing to something more up to date, so the car will become at least something less of a handfull. <object width="480" height="295"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/S2nJQvq3FsM&hl=nl&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/S2nJQvq3FsM&hl=nl&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="295"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/M-e0_9MiyGw&hl=nl&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/M-e0_9MiyGw&hl=nl&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/KR7xGEhoot0&hl=nl&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/KR7xGEhoot0&hl=nl&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
I couldn't see from the first video clip if you beat him or not. But with 40 and 2, I'll assume you beat him.  John Biggs.
I give you guys MAJOR PROPS for beating the snot out of your rare cars so far from parts availability
Hello Opa! Your Buick sounds really sweet, that X-pipe seems to mellow it down quite a bit. Love all your vids, keep them coming!:TU: Thanks, Antti
Tnx antti, I will do that! Hopefully we will be making new vids this summer, when the car is ready, still needs an engine/trans/convertor and we will be starting to get the driveline up to spec, so it can take on the new engine and trans combo! One thing is for sure, that souped up RoadRunner isn't getting away from me next time! Greetz Robert
