If you think about it, it's probably easier to make that car "normal" again than it would be one of those 24" wheel, sparkle paint job, "custom" interior with 32 speaker types. Just sayin'.

I like it. Of course I actually drive in the snow unlike some of you guys with your little Japanese winter cars:bla:

A popular conversion locally. One guy does this every couple years. Modern frame & drive train. Usually a 4 door body, whatever he can find that will fit......sort of. Add the plow & away he goes. Last time I saw him it was a mid-60's Galaxy. Round tail lights.

    I kind of like it!

There are many cars that I would rather see mounted to the frame, but it doesn't look bad! Wouldn't have to leave the cool car at home any more when I went into the woods!

Looks like the body is pretty good though. If someone wanted to bring her back the price looks pretty good for a decent body ( assuming the body is as good as it looks )

Around here the cars used for those type conversions are ones with rotted out frames and no floors. It's easier and cheaper to throw them on s-10 frames and keep them running for a few more years. Same as building a kit car, but with a steel body instead of fiberglass.
