here's your Mopar, Tom! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Belv...518319&lgeo=1&vectorid=229466&forcev4exp=true :Brow: :Brow: :Brow:
As long as you stay with the Plymouth side of the family. The Dodge version had more ge-gaws and trinkets and body swoops and was plain ugly. This one is ugly in a lovable kind of way!
What's not to love? When I said I was looking for a 62-65 B-Body, I forgot to say that first on my list is a 62 Savoy,Belvedere, then a 62 Fury. The only reason Chevy and Ford owners called these cars ugly, was because they didn't like watching the rear of the car all the way down the track.
Friend of mine has a 63 Polara that his neighbor once drag raced. Dont know what driveline it had originally but his neighbor had stuffed a 426/4spd in it and raced it for yrs. Last i knew he had a 318 5spd in it. Car has been sitting for at least 10yrs now rotting away. Grille is now gone after hitting a deer one night, he never could find another. His was also black with red interior.
