Ya, that's right....It's LACR and most die hard Southern Californians know it. Today, between rain drops (can you believe that?) they halfed the track to avoid guys ingesting sand into their carbs...So for all those guys set up for 1/4, kiss off. Anyhow, got a chance to run the car after some mods. Still need to correct some'n in the shifting but it ran a 7.360 and 89 in the 8th on the motor with 3:73s in the rear. AND DID NOT USE FULL THROTTLE. (cause I was scared to death) Not bad for an o'l fart. Need new slicks as this beast spun the tires completely through first gear. Anyhow, thought I'd let the group know. Kinda makes me feel good. And a reaction time of 021.
that's smokin' for no traction and part throttle! Is this the 65 with the Stage 2? Pics of the completed beast!
No Adam, it's the 72 that I've messed with for a few years and never got it exactly right. Shifter is not right and the slicks are shot, just hard...so need to change a few things. Chris, Hi, how ya doing. Can't make Irwindale cause have to change a few things in the red car but will get "a hold" of you in the next several weeks and we can do some'n out there. Len
