I have been trying for months to get a set of Hurst repro wheels 14 x 6. I bought a set of caps and trim rings on ebay from the Parts Place as they were praising their wheels. This didn't help me either. I am wondering has anybody actually seen a set . They told me they were having plating problems. I want the wheels but hate to just keep waiting. Anyone live near them so I could pay you to go by and see if they are for real. John
Jea have you tryed the web sit www.thepartsplaceinc.com I know they are in Illinois ( Elburn) 1 800 442 0411 Good Luck p :TU:
Ive bought alot of parts from the Parts Place. And I must say their service is EXCELLENT. I bought repro bumpers from them for my car and they were emmaculate. And the shipping was quick too. I dont think theyd BS you. They seem like a bunch of honest guys to me.
I have seen their repo hurst wheels. Thjey looked very nice. Nice enough I was contemplating buying a set for my 66 GTO. I haven't seen a set on a car though. I have had bumpers done through them, and stainless polished and straightened. The quality has been great. I've dealt with the owner Joe for years, and have never had a problem. He is about an hour away from me, and I do go down there for stuff every now and then. Take care Tony
Tony, I am considering getting a rear bumper for my Buick through them.. How is the quality of their chrome parts? Do you know if they would re-chrome a part (my rear bumper is original and still has factory chaulk marks on the back). Thanks!!!
I had a perfect rust free 70 front bumper that they rechromed instead of doing the exchange. Quality was good, and I got my same part back. The chrome is really nice. Tony
Wheels and hope Sending out a check for $2080 for wheels and shipping. Will let you know the outcome. A "pig in a poke" Maybe?// John
I'm dropping some stuff off their next week if you need anything, or pics of the wheels. Those wheels would look great on my Stage 1 for sale, and Christmas is getting closer. Tony
Re: Wheels and hope I like a guy who buys me my xmas present early. Got me one coming for myself and you know what I mean.
