Looks like a pretty good kit......I'm going to buy one for a '73 Chevelle because they don't list one for a 73 GS.....but the parts are the same for both cars. If I get it soon I'll let you know how everything is!

People I've talked to said the pedals and such are made well. I'm gonna order a kit soon for my Regal T5 swap.

Thanks everyone for your response. Jim thanks for the reference of the sticky:TU: ..My car is a Lark and not a GS, so looking for more of function rather than factory original.

I bought the kit for my 71 skylark with 455. I highly recommend you get the conversion kit from somewhere other than the parts place if possible. I had nothing but trouble with the kit and the owner of parts place. The kit came with all the parts just thrown into a box, which was no big deal. The z-bar is different than factory and once installed was hitting the bell housing. The clutch fork pushrod had a 90 degree bend to go through the z-bar, and that would get hung up bad. There was no return spring in the kit. After speaking with the owner, he said that it was in the kit, even though he did not assemble the kit. This is also the guy who told me that I had to buy a starter for a 4 speed car because the stock one was hitting the inside of the bellhousing (also bought from parts place) and could not be installed. There is NO starter made for a 4-speed car. We had taken pictures of the parts and emailed to him, and he swore they were correct, and he is never wrong. After numerous hours of trying to get the parts to fit, my mechanic was able to get the correct adjustable pushrod so that the fork would release fully. Now proving that he was already wrong twice, I was able to get him to send the return spring that was missing. In the end, I had to grind down part of the bellhousing so that the linkage would operate correctly, and I had to buy a smaller super starter to fit in his "exact casting of factory" bellhousing. Nothing I have ever bought from them would work correctly without modifying and spending countless hours figuring out where the problems were actually coming from. If you get the kit, make sure there is an adjustable push rod(threaded) and a clutch return spring. Keep a grinder handy and if you need support, dont call them. It is a waste of time.

I bought a piece from him and it was broken..his response..and i quote..
"its an aftermarket part you should expect cracks" I bought a spoiler and it came broke..his ad said sand an paint best on the market...

Very interesting... I also bought a rear spoiler, and mine was broken, also. HMMM. It was dropped BEFORE priming and packaging. The included "included hardware package" had only one washer; one DEFINITELY wrong size nut, and the foam rubber gaskets wouldn't even come close to fit. I emailed them, and the response was "Hello,
I apologize for the inconvinece on this. I will forward this over to the
manager so he is aware of this. He is out of the office until Monday.
    Thank you

Well, I still haven't heard from them. Guess I'll spend my money elsewhere.

I bought 2 Repo Part# 9787069 Forks from the parts place 1 was ok the other was flat instead of curved where the throwout bearing sits. He said send it back and he will check it out. I sent pictures of the difference and he sent back another flat one. I called him and he said they are all like that and if I'm not satisfied send it back and he will refund my money. Now it cost me 2x shipping for nothing.
The 73 Chevelle pedals look cheap to me. If they are built like the 78-88 Malibu pedals you may not be happy( unfortunately I haven't found any better repos for the 73-77s) See Pedals

Dave kleiner is where I got all my parts a few years back. Type in his name in search. Can always go hydraulic which is what buicksstaged1 put in my sprt wagon. Very different feel to it. Total pedal travel is about 2 inches at most.

not to change the thread but I too purchased a rear spoiler from TPP and it had splits in the fiberglass edges and was told that is to be expected with aftermarket fiberglass to have some imperfections that need finished by the end user... Sounds like an excuse for mass producing with inferior quality control to me..

    InaRush.. you have a PM.

I got all my Buick manual parts from Dave K. Outstanding quality and accurate for the application. He's been doing this awhile folks.
My conversion was from auto to Hurst Driveline Conversions 5sp TKO 600. Flawless install with the exception of clearance between header flange and trans crossmember in it's new location. This thing is FUN! Going to go from 4.10 to 3.55 by Spring for a 2.27 final 4th gear. The 464 has all the torque I need to cruise in 5th @ 80+ (out West donchaknow).
