  1. Hello to all
I am the new guy. Well I will first start off that I am a buick
man all the way. I love buicks. A lot of people underestimate
Buicks and thats why I love 'em. I have a 77 Skylark 2 door
S/R. I dropped in a 1971 Rivie motor and all I have done to
it is increased the flow. I had the heads PnP'd and had custom
headers made to fit the tight space. I took off the heavy intake
and replaced it with a TA SP-1 intake( A good one I might add)
I Have a minor cam upgrade from Lunati and and MSD ignition.
It is backed by a TH400 with a 1800 stall. Out back I have
a 9" 31 spline with 3:50 gears, Mosier axles and an Eaton Posi.
The Paint is Light Firethorn Red by Dupont Imron. The interior
was done by Gatewood Interiors with black leather and silver
inserts. Guages are Autometer Phantoms. I have had the car
for 5 years and I love driving it. It is my daily and have traveled
cross country twice with it including the desert. I love reliability.
I hope to talk to you soon.

hey, I got a friend who moved from Golden Hill last year. She's just on the North side of San Diego now, she moved again, but I forget the name of the area. I love San Diego, what a beautiful city. I'm going out there again to visit in a few months, where's some places I can look for parts out there? Any recycling yards (junkyards) out there? I could have bought a '68 Charger there two years ago for 4 grand but I didn't have the cash. It needed a carpet and a paint job, would have been worth 10 grand out here...Also saw a sweet '66 Gran Sport by the navy base, and a Chevy Cameo pickup :eek2: I made my friend stop the car to check it out. She thinks I'm nuts.
