Most if not all of the information on stealth is classified. Its one of the few technologies where we have an edge over our adversaries. Vet - I don't recall a PM - let me check!
I unloaded scrap paper at a Menomonie, MI recycling plant 8 years ago across the river from where three ships like this were being built in Marinette, WI. Thought it was an interesting design, although probably not that stealthy.
This information is available on the Internet as unclassified. How does stealth work in ships It does not make the ship invisible, but the object is to make the radar signature small so that it looks like a fishing trawler or smaller. Basically radar waves bounce off surfaces like light off a mirror, angle of incidence = angle of reflection. Most of the signal bounces away but if there are round corners then the radiation is scattered so that some bounces back to the sender. Most detectable radar returns come off round or curved surfaces. Only if the flat surfaces are perpendicular to the source will there be a really strong reflection. By making the ship very angular with no curved surfaces and the flat surfaces angled upwards the radar reflection is reduced. Special radar absorbing coatings are also used to reduce reflections. That means also that all fittings, guns, missiles etc have to be treated the same way or hidden within the external structure. So that is how its done. Look like an innocuous fishing boat. Unfortunately, in America, we live in an Open Source world. Vet
For the record - I received over two grand from the Feds during the Covid mess. I didn't ask for it, I didn't need it, and I ultimately used it to help pay my income taxes. I'm sure that I was not the only person in that situation.
