  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

The only thing I can equate it to, it's like an American buying Steve McQueens Escort

I’m sorry, but you’ve got to be not just rich but weird as hell to want that car that bad. The scary thing is that it was an auction, meaning two rich weirdos wanted it. Either ‘weird’ like the commoners who covet and worship English royals, or even weirder and going to be sitting in the passenger seat, naked and polishing the shifter while sniffing the driver’s seat kinda weird.
In my opinion. If any of you folk are this weird, I apologize and promise I didn’t mean to offend.

I'll be honest, I laughed 'til I cried, at your post. Does that make me a bad person?

That whole royalty thing. Even people in the US eat that up! I just don't get it. The French had the right idea, except for the guillotine part. But I guess that kept the royalty from getting back into power?

ETA- you know the difference between crazy and eccentric, right? Rich people are eccentric.

ok let’s not go here…she was a mom and she passed away in car crash. I feel bad for her kids like anyone on this board that lost a loved one too soon. As for the car…I think that’s a lot of sterling to drop but it probably will hold its value for the next 20 years or so.
