I’m sorry, but you’ve got to be not just rich but weird as hell to want that car that bad. The scary thing is that it was an auction, meaning two rich weirdos wanted it. Either ‘weird’ like the commoners who covet and worship English royals, or even weirder and going to be sitting in the passenger seat, naked and polishing the shifter while sniffing the driver’s seat kinda weird. That whole royalty thing. Even people in the US eat that up! I just don't get it. The French had the right idea, except for the guillotine part. But I guess that kept the royalty from getting back into power? ETA- you know the difference between crazy and eccentric, right? Rich people are eccentric.
ok let’s not go here…she was a mom and she passed away in car crash. I feel bad for her kids like anyone on this board that lost a loved one too soon. As for the car…I think that’s a lot of sterling to drop but it probably will hold its value for the next 20 years or so.
