I picked up an engine and transmission from whamo today, for free! He is a great example of what I love about the car hobby as much as the cars. You get to meet great people and talk to them about cars, going fast, and whatever else comes up. Not to mention the fact that there are guys like him that help out fellow gear heads by passing along their "extra" stuff to someone who can use it. Now I'm off to try and buy a car to put the engine in!
I haven't given up on figuring out how to come up with the cash for your 65!! Turbo 350 65???? A 65 for the price of 20 tickets to a concert from a guy that hasn't done any new work in 30 plus years sounds like a very good deal to me!

If I get a surprise and get my normal Christmas bonus this year, I may be able to figure it out! I would just have to wait for the snow to melt enough to pick it up at that point.
