TH200 Transmission Cross-Member for g-body Regal

I have an 1987 Buick Regal, and I'm looking for a "uncut/factory" TH200 automatic tranny cross-member.

I live in Brooklyn, NY ... the closer the better.

i would have to think it would be easy to find in the bone yard, any 81-87 v6 regal cutlass or grand prix would have the th200 in it. even some of the v8 cars had that trans in it. should be alot easier to find then the 200 4r crossmember.

 

I have a good a GN cross member,don't know if that helps.And I am 20 minutes from Kennedy airport.BrunoD.

 

I believe the 200 trans has the x-mbr that goes straight across...the 200R4 has a shape like a hockey stick.

Which one do you need?

yea guess i should have read your specs on the bottom. i see your running the th400 trans so you will need the one bruno has from the 2004r cars. those are getting a little harder to find so i would snatch his up. i have one of the g-force crossmembers in mine which is nice because it already is set of for duals and i didnt really trust my altered stock member with all of the torque of the big block. kinda expensive though.

Yeah, the TH2004R is the same type transmission that was in the Olds 307 Regal ... and the TH400 bolts right up to that x-member.

Now, with the 10-compression "Pee-Gee-Built (Scotty) 455" I had with a 501-lift Lunati cam ... I had the stock x-member cut a Meineke for the duals they installed on that Regal; and I beat the hell out that car with NO problems with the cut stock x-member.:TU:

I feel confident with a stock/cut TH2004R x-member.

I remember (my Scotty 455 with used $75 junk-yard TH400) leaving the tranny in 2nd ... taking the Regal to @ 45 and hitting the breaks ... AND THE REGAL WOULD KICK-DOWN WITH A HARD JERK CHIRPING THE TIRES BEFORE STOPPING.:beers2:. I loved that stuff! It was like I had stick-shift.
