I have one now from an 85 GN but it only has 2nd and 3rd gears and reverse. No 1 or OD. I bought a book and I'm getting a video and I'm going to make an attempt at rebuilding it over the next couple of months. The rebuild is over $200 so I just wanted one I could swap in in the "mean time". Then I would probably rebuild that one after I'm done with the one I have. I have called a few local junk yards and they say they don't have anything. I'm wondering if they really know what they do have. Dave, if I have no luck I'll let you know. Then I'll figure out how to get it to Ohio.
Go over to the TurboBuick.com board. I posted there and got a 200R4 out of a 87 GN for $200. Of course it did need rebuilt.
Trans. The one from Dave sounds like a good deal junk yards around here want much more than 250.00 for a BRF trans even a core is more.
