This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. I have one now from an 85 GN but it only has 2nd and 3rd gears and reverse. No 1 or OD. I bought a book and I'm getting a video and I'm going to make an attempt at rebuilding it over the next couple of months. The rebuild is over $200 so I just wanted one I could swap in in the "mean time". Then I would probably rebuild that one after I'm done with the one I have.

I have called a few local junk yards and they say they don't have anything. I'm wondering if they really know what they do have.

Dave, if I have no luck I'll let you know. Then I'll figure out how to get it to Ohio.

Go over to the TurboBuick.com board. I posted there and got a 200R4 out of a 87 GN for $200. Of course it did need rebuilt.

The one from Dave sounds like a good deal junk yards around here want much more than 250.00 for a BRF trans even a core is more.
