TH-400 Tranny

    Hey all... I'm starting to tinker with my '68 350 and was thinking on replacing that Power "Slide" tranny. A friend gave me a TH-350 that needs to be overhauled. Before I go and do this, I was wondering if anyone near Long Island, NY would have a running TH-400 for a good price? I'm also in the market for a running 455 to put in front of it :Brow:

    I'am not that close but i have a rebuilt 400 from a 68-9 Riviera. I don't know if you are interested in a running 76 455 still in a Riviera. Turbo 400-300.00 and the 455 is 400.00. Thanks Tom.

    I'm very interested but the distance does concern me. I will look into shipping for the Tranny.

    Does the Riviera come with the 455? I could drive it all back if she is street worthy :Brow: :pp I wish you were at least 2/3 closer I would be there tomorrow. What would be a better Fathers day gift than a 455/TH-400 for my '68? :bglasses:

    I'm a lot closer in CT and I have a th400 long tail bop, for cheap. It came out of a running parts car I got for the 455. Been sitting on the shelf for a while (2 years) but worked when pulled (or I wouldnt have kept it). $150 com and get it.

    455 engine

    Hi Wayne
    I have good street-strip Buick-455 for sale that runs 10.70's in the 1/4 in a 3500 lbs car.I am selling it pan-carb.If interested send pm or call me at (302-322-4600) 9am-5pm est.I am looking to get $4900.00 for all.I am also right here in Newcastle DE.not that faraway.
