th 400 performance rebuild questions

    I am going to be converting my trans to switch pitch. I would like to upgrade some internals. Can someone recommend a good rebuild kit? B&M,TCI,Hughes??? I want it to handle a 450-500hp 464, street strip duty. How about the intermediate sprag? Is the 34 element an aftermarket item only or is it going to be in the 67 trans? Do I need the red clutches or the blue? Soooo many questions. Thanks Tom

    Here is a website from a company down in Louisiana that build hi-performance transmissions. Lots of good info. I almost bought my 200R4 from them, but found a reputable guy just 20 minutes from my house to do the same thing for similar money.

    I have an ATI catilog that has what they use in their transmissions list. I think it is online also.
