    CONGRATULATIONS DAVE!!!!
For those that Missed it, It was a GREAT EVENT!! Fantastic Weather, a lot of cars I haven't seen out (& Owners/Drivers for a Long Time) as well as some New cars & People.
Turnout was respectable for a Close in Event, and the everything seemed to come together well.
Thanks to Frank Brooks for "Chauffeuring" Us (Steve & Jarrod Campbell & Myself) to Dinner, & a Great time for the "Hotel Party" as well.

Wish I could have ran a little more. I was having a blast and the tires came in for me and it really started to hook. Saw some people out there I saw the first time we gather out there for a Brand X bash and met some new folks of course. I really appreciate the effort that the LSPBC put forth into making that work. I already wanna go again!

Man, I wish we would have made this event. Unfortunately Don had to work. Darn oversized Shell cranes. Lol.

Regardless I still want to thank the guys who made this happen, can't have too many Buick events!

And I see that Steve was doing a good job sportin the Special. How did the Q-Jet do Steve?

I'm sure he will answer, but that Special ran great all day.

Haha, my wife suggested be drive her '04 Rainier down anyways, if I hadn't have been elbow-deep in radiators and brakes I'd have taken her up on it and we could have had the Rainier showdown

Sorry I missed it. I'll be back in Texas again for 2015, I'm currently living in Calif. Just bought a GS 350 with a 455 already in it.

Just wanted to say that we had a GREAT time and thankful for a well-run safe event. Hats off to David Newton and LSPBC for hosting! And big thanks to JR Wills for use of his trailer and overall help!

Mark Northcutt made a minor adjustment on the qjet carb and the old Red Special was running pretty good (best ET of 14.56 at 92 mph during time trials). Problem was that I couldn't repeat the good runs during eliminations, the same old problem for me.... plus trying to get consistent traction with street radials was next to impossible for me. You just can't win if you run .62 over your dial-in. Any way you look at it though, it doesn't get much better than having fun with friends & family (son with his 67 GS400).:beers2:

Didn't get many pix myself, but here's a few, including one of EJ's beautiful Wildcat convertible (1st place in '77 and older class in car show).

Nice video. Our convertible was a little outmatched there, but it did what we were hoping for. Next year, we hope to bring the red car.

My brother in-law got about the same video David and the same run. They must have been standing right next to one another getting that shot. Too cool. Just gotta fix it so I can do that some more. Hoping to make the Red Line events baring I hurt something major. Sorry you had issues as well. I had a great time regardless and look forward to doing that again!

Thanks... your car looked GREAT as well .:TU:

While attempting to slow down, the car stalled.
When I tried to start it the motor kicked back and broke the starter.:Do No:

Thanks to David and Phil, we rushed over to Advanced who happened to have a starter in stock.

I'm happy it was just the starter.....:beers2:

Let's definitely plan on it again next year. Had a great time. Great weather great turn out. The 67 ran it's best time ever into the 14.80's stock with 2:93's!!!

Even blew the cap off the power steering pump. Anyone got an old one laying around with the dipstick attached??!!
