Hmmm...could be the moron that's using it. I'm running Photoshop so resizing/compressing is easy enough. Here's the scoop. I'm trying to post the gut-wrenching "before" pics of my rusty cowl/firewall area, and it ain't happening. I've downloaded pix posted by other members and tried attaching them....still no dice. Maybe I'll try posting from work tomorrow. Chad
Chad, is the file saved as a bitmap on your computer? It came to me as a .bmp file...and it was over 900k in size. That's much too big for the forum. The biggest file size is 153k. Try saving your files as .jpg or .gif next time. The image I uploaded is a jpeg and it's about 60k.
o No: That's the snag I'm running into. When I downloaded your 60k file from your post, it showed as 93k. I tried reposting it in a reply with no luck, then when I opened it in P-shop & Quicktime it showed as 900k I'll try again on a Dell at work. Thanks again Adam:beer
Is that rust hole on your parts car or the convertible? Bummer if it's the convertible. We should get a Gateway/bi-state thing together to meet some of the folks from the board! And to ogle at the cars, of course.
It's the ragtop alright. If I open or close the glovebox, the whole dash assembly bounces up & down like a lowrider on Friday nite. So all I need to do is replace the dash, firewall, cowl, doors, quarters, fenders, brakes, seats, trunk lip, decklid & top. Could be worse though....it could be a Chevelle
Well, I can get all the sheetmetal from the hardtop, and I have front discs just waiting to be installed. I'm holding off everything else until I find a torch-wielder good enough to take on the cowl/dash/firewall with me, or until I find a ragtop shell in better shape.
lol! Good luck on the repair! This is something that you should take lots of pictures of as you go along. Lot's of folks would like to know how to do this, and they say a pictures worth a thousand words, although I don't know who 'they' are.
