I was afraid that your car would sell quickly. Any chance that the new owner will bring it?

I'll be there again with the GN this year as always. :beer

    I'm here!!

Good news, my friend's GN won his race with best time of 11.4.
Bad news, Ferds won overall event.

There was a (I think 69) GS there that hauled azz! He was running low 9's! I didn't run my GSX...not that everyone wasn't egging me on to do so. I worry about an old #'s engine...figure it's not worth the risk. But I'm sure I would have blown them all away...bias plys and all!

I never saw so many GN's all in one place before. There must have been 30-40 of them. There were also several GNX's. It was a fun day...just would have been better if the Buicks would have won.

Well thank-you so much for responding!

I am so sorry to hear that the Buick's took a nose dive. :(

I attended last year, I spent so much time just cruising around in the countryside and loved every minute of the solitude, dazzling blue skies, oil wells to photograph and BBQ!
    Ohhhhh, the food... more please!!!

I have posted my many photos from this event on our website at www.lspbc.org. Swing by sometime and see if I may have taken a pic of your ride. No 56K though or you will likely crash.

Full results and pictures can be seen on the Okbuicks site. okbuicks.com Another win for the Ford Team, but it was a great time. With 94 pairs in the finals, it was an all day thrash. Thanks to all those that support this Event. We will do it again for the 15th year on October 17, 2009. Dick Walker

Hey Mike, take a look at the pictures, we even had an Edsel there running 11s. But as you guessed, fox bodies are very popular and quick. DW
