I am looking for some aftermarket tailpipes that fit reasonably well . I hoping to find some that exit before the rear bumper instead of underneath it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what has worked well for them?
    Thanks

It comes with 2 different style tailpipes, either turndown before the bumper or straight out the back. I did wind up changing the mufflers out a couple of times until I found some that didn't have any annoying drone.

Nice, those exit a good spot. What mufflers did you end up going with?

I use Dynomax VT mufflers which to my knowledge are no longer made.

I used a Pypes x-pipe system. It fit very well and tucked up nicely.

I had used their system with quietest mufflers on a 68 GS and it was great. However when I installed the same thing on the 67 way more drone. I also used Dynomax.

Thanks I will check those out. I have used the walker dynomax super turbos on my 71 with an x pipe and hooker supercomp headers which sounds pretty good not much drone. On my 67 I have some long case turbo style mufflers that are very quiet ( not sure of brand ) but they dump right in front of the rear end , I want to get tail pipes on it and see how it sounds I might to try an x pipe down the road I do like the way they sound.

I thought TA Performance had a nice setup avail? They did require an extension for 64-67 to reach the bumper.

TA does offer a set that looks like they would work. They are currently back ordered .TA has no estimate of when they might be available .

I went with a Gardner exhaust on my 67. Pricey. But it fits and looks exactly like stock.

I went with their performance exhaust, which uses 2.5" head pipes and 2.25" tailpipes instead of the factory 2.25" and 2". Sounds good, no drone at all.

I went with "Waldron's" original exhaust system. They sent 68-72 tails pipes originally and had to send pictures and remind them 67 was different. We talked on the phone and I provided an order we did back in like 2017 and provided pictures. He was apologetic and had replacement tail pipes in a week. My crazy 63 Riviera exhaust system came from them now that was impressive, pretty much bolted right up.

I have looked at their systems, they look really nice , i have not inquired on the price, I’m trying to just finish this system off with tailpipes but who knows I may end up starting from scratch.
