I saw this casting in person last week while at T A picking up some last minute parts for a 470 BBB Mike Modena just built for me. So, it is real!
All I can say is.... Wow! They are going to be awesome!

I'm really starting to wish I would have went NA now ha, but with a 4.25 crank and 4.38 bore I better continue down the turbo path ha

If they donate the parts needed to fit, headers, intake, heads, covers, etc I would be more than willing to do a back to back test against my cnc te2 heads, but I'm sure my 464 won't do these heads justice or see the huge gain as a larger 523,555,+ motors would

Michael, THANKS for the update, your Pop and I talked at the Nationals and I was lucky enough to get a sneek peak then. And don't be such a stranger man, updates from our most devoted and capable supplier is always a good thing. The wheels are always turning over at TA , and I as well as others look forward to hearing and seeing what's new and in the works over there. The dawn of 1000hp NA mail order builds are just around the corner boys,..

Looks like after 32 years of controversy we will soon have an option for our very own elephant motor. We'd never live it down if it were a true Hemi. Curious if there were any specific modern designs that provided inspiration for these. Look forward to [hopefully] seeing more pictures and data as they progress.

Will they bolt up to an iron block?

I don't think that will be necessary. You can kill an iron block with any of the the other heads that TA offers.

I'm sure they will, all the heads TA makes fit both iron and AL block now. So I feel safe to say in they will bolt to one they will bolt to the other

That would mean i would have to cut the middle of my hood out. So which flows more the SuperCat, or the Wicked Wedge?

Going to have a hard time putting the valve arrangement of a head like this in a little 4.38 bore ha, as to which flows more thats impossible to say for starters the Stage 6 isn't done, the Betts Billet head is good for 530's out of the box, either one will move more air than an iron block would know what to do with

Yes, they will bolt to an iron block, on both the iron and aluminum blocks a china wall spacer will be needed as the intake side has been extended. The end seal gaps will need to be filled with a spacer. The valves will clear a 4.350 bore.

Ok you got me on the china wall spacer? I think it would be a quick end to an iron block as they are now. But someday when the fine gentlemen at TA unvaile their iron up grade block that can handle the" Wicked Wedge". I think an iron block in the 3500 to 4000 range would really get more people into the fun at the track.
Can you please post pics of the TA wagon or Wicked Wagon melting some rubber!

China wall is the part of the block that the intake seal too on the valley ends. On the stk intake it's where we put the rubber end seal on the block. I'm lucky enough with my new te2 heads and sp2 if I use a .060 gasket all the ports line up well and I can use the rubber end seal rather than having to use silcone......clean up is a lot easier

It's gonna be crazy times when these and the billet heads make their way onto the dyno. I can't wait to see the numbers on some max effort Buick builds.

What will the valve reliefs look like in the pistons to run these heads?
