    I present to you, the cylinder head that every Buick racer has dreamed of... TA Stage 6 cylinder heads. We also call it the Wicked Wedge.

    The runners are raised a tad bit in comparison to the other heads.

    Pretty cool!

    So it looks like 2 separate intake dual shaft rocker setup with stud mounted rockers for the exhaust, is that what I'm seeing?

    Probably not "convulsions", a bit disappointment though. It could possibly explain the delay though but probably not;

    These aren't machined yet, that's what TA seems to be having the problems getting done. They have sbb 350 bare un-machined aluminum casting as well as these. Its to bad that the sbb ones didn't get machined and for sale before Christmas, they could of helped pay to get these done?

    Plus after the first prototype ones get machined, they send in the final casting adjustments before the big production run gets done?

    There are plenty of places here in Michigan that can handle the machine work if they want to ship them here? I could probably find one or probably 10 different places that can have them done in no time at all if they want to farm them out?

    I was thinking about you when I wrote my previous post that maybe you could machine the heads for them?

    I might've this past summer. I was pretty slow.
    Now I've got plenty of work to do and a couple other irons in the fire. I'll throw up a couple pics in the shop thread later. I don't want to derail this one.

    I'm looking forward to seeing these finished and what kind of power they can make.

    A couple of us have spent a lot of $'s on projects like this knowing it will never pan out but in the name of Buick which we all love have come up with options for the few who can and will step up. Making heads like these will now require in most cases new headers, intakes, valve train and valve covers and new cams. I heard these castings have been around 6 months so I would suspect they are further along than the pictures show. Good luck TA, and for the few who do want a casting for specific classes, well here you go! 2018 will be a banner year for Buick performance, sooooooo hang on to your hats.

    Cool, just saw this... from the looks of it, going to be some wild exhaust rocker gear, considering canted valves on a block with straight lifter bores. Can't wait to see the finished prototype set. Another great option for us all.
