Our local saturday night show has been getting larger every week. We had 143 really nice cars this past weekend. Search for "Niftee50ees" and you will find a photo album of all the fun. Look for the bad Buicks. Anyway, late one night a couple weeks back a green tunnel ram bucket took off after "LEAVER". I thought to myself he better hope he doesn't catch up to Jeff. Well he did. Unfortunately the stickys tires where in the garage. The bucket start hooping next to Jeff at about 45mph. At that speed if you pull it into second the car may turn around on ya, so Jeff just keeps the stage2 lugged down in third while the bucket drops it a gear and jumps out a car. Well the stage2 holds that distance for a second or two untill the SPX hits it's rpm range. All of a sudden the big buick starts to reel in the bucket until front ends come together. A sharp turn in the road forced an early end to this race but this race was already over. 1600 pounds and a hot small block chevy is not enough when up against a bad buick!

I talked to the guy last week. I asked him about his car. "Man! that thing is all motor", "Yep", "It must be fast, maybe 10s?" , "Oh ya! easy 10s"

I didn't have the heart to tell him to get buick power.

Check out the Hemi cars! There next!! :beer :3gears:
