Just bought a 67 lark. It has a 300 in it and a 455 waiting. What parts should I gather? Will the 455 bold up to the 2 spd tranny? Will the stock exhaust manifolds work? Any advise appreciated on all aspects. Thanks "Silly"

You will need big block frame pads from TA Performance, big block exhaust manifolds, the tranny should bolt up but I doubt it will hold up. A 350 turbo should bolt in or a 400 but you will need to move the cross member back and shorten the drive shaft.

I have cast manifolds for the 455. Will those fit? Should I seek headers? Thanks for the reply!

I believe it should but there was a different style exhaust manifold for 67 as you can see here. I put headers on my 64.

This has alot of information you can use.

How is the body and floor on this car. I have a 67 Big Block 4 speed set up that I would like to install in a special or skylark some day.
