Well, I knew my 69 hasn't been on-the-road since 2005. Other than monthly startups, it's been stored. So today I removed the valve covers to have a look ou: Worst than I thought. I found about 1/2" of 'Black Toothpaste' hiding inside. After a good cleaning, I also found head casting #'s of B1382546R (Driver's side) & B1382546K (Passenger side). So my heads are from 71, not 69. I'll keep looking for the Block casting #'s to see what year motor I have. Before I drain the oil (Again) I will also be removing the oil pan to clean it and the screen as well. I'm sure it looks the same in there as my heads. o No: Dave...
