Not very many people have boosted Buicks so I really appreciate the feedback. I am not very greedy here. I think that around 8 pound of boost should really wake up my motor. Looking for 150 hp gain. This will be a mosty street driven setup.

I realize that E85 will vary. Since I am looking for a very safe setup for my motor I do not think I will be any where close to the edge with this fuel and my goals. My main concern with E85 is will I be able to get a tune that is drivable, good starting, progressive throttle with no bogs. Basically easy to live with for the 4000 miles per year I may drive it. If I am going to get myself into a big headache with E85 I will abandon that part of the project.

Bob, what is good fuel? I usually run Sunoco 94 octane. I do not plan on running race fuel.

doug 94 will work really well with a street set -up. if you put a water injection set up on it it will make it work even better with much less concern about your fuel and if you get some less octane it won't bite you.

My concern for e-85 is the inconsistent tune on your car. not really an issue if you are just putting around but if you start jumping on it that is were it would sting you. but if you are careful you would be ok i'm sure.

John scordas set up a basic street piece we over charged it for what he was tying to do at first but he was able to run in the tens last year with only 5 pounds of boost. We are putting a p1sc on a 350 right now and i don't plan on it being over 10 pounds of boost it will be a 80% street car. and we will run 93 octane in that with a air to air intercooler. these combos have a lot a ways to make them work. I like the power that can be made with a good street set up we are working on two other combos besides the 350. the super-charger thing is catching on we are getting a lot of questions on our kits and asking for help on the builds.

Anybody have a good suggestion for a coolant pump? I'll be running an air/liquid IC on the 340 but I haven't started planning out the plumbing yet. It'll only need to pump when I'm into boost though so it'll only have to run maybe a minute at a time at the most but should be capable of good pressure and flow with 5/8 or 3/4" lines.
