Ok, I've been working on my 70 Buick Skylark for quite a while, and The rear springs are very old.. Original.. Very tired.... . If someone has a set lying around with more life than mine, which wouldn't take much, I'd be interested... I know I could buy new, but, New house, Kid,Gas Money is a little short... Hopefully someone on here can make me a deal.... When I bought the car 3 years ago, looked like a lowrider.. I'd like to put a little lift back in her......

    Thanks David Carter

I too had your same problem along time ago with my 69 Riv. I tried air bags in the rear springs until one would go bad then I would have to let the air out of the other one until I could replace it with a new one, then I found out that Kanter Auto parts sells coil over shocks, so I bought a set and could not believe how high it raised the back side up, just a little higher then the air bags could. Now I'm parting out the 69 Riv, the shocks have a little rust on them, don't know if they will bolt up to a skylark but your welcome to them, for free, just pay shipping or go to Kanter Auto parts on the web and check out what they look like and check out the price for new ones.
I can ask around to see if they will fit a skylark cause they look like they would bolt up, I was going to hold on to them for my 72 Skylark for down the road when I might need them but I will gladly give them to somebody if they really needed them.
Let me know what you think,
    Chip
