Hey, has anyone built a stroked 350? I am considering a build up this summer. What about using aluminum rods with a 1.880 big end? Are there offset ground cranks out there or will I have to send mine to have it ground? What about side wall clearance? I would like to know if it's feasable before I put too much time in it.

Buick stroked about a million of them and called them Buick 350's. Sorry but the way that engine is designed, there is no more room for additional stroke, and the bore size is limited too. That is the reason why that engine isn't more popular. The big end of the rod gets so close to the cam that there is litterally no more room.

Best way to make a 350 Buick 'bigger' is with an ATI Procharger/intercooler!!!:bglasses:

Small cubes are nothing you can't 'fix' with a little forced induction!!

Just look how much power those Grand Nationals make!!:TU:

Thanks for the information. I should have known someone would have tried it by now.
