Howdy, I am looking to find out what a Buick Dynaflow trans looks like does anybody have a pic? I came across a transmission today that says powerglide stamped in the top of the cast iron housing but the trans looks more like a stickshift trans it has a square box with a lever near the bell housing and one near the rear or tail also the dipstick bolts to the side of this box. The bell housing is round with a adapter to fit a sbc. The owner won't let me take a picture, why i dont know.
sounds like the late 55 cast iron powerglide. I think all dynaglides were for torquetube's (that should mahe Identifying the back end easier) Jon
Howdy Jon, This trans has a regular spline at the tail. I'm working getting a picture but the guy that owns the setup is not willing to let me take a shot/picture at this time. Thanks Joe
