So i've got a 455 GS, i've got some things done to it....and i want to use it as a cool but affordable street car. Does anynbody want to comment on whether or not i should get some 10 to 1 pistons or keep the original looking 8ish to 1 compression ones. I've already got a big cam and some exhaust work done to it, as well as carb intake and ported heads. Will getting different aftermarket pistons increase my power, and if so -with a 10 to 1 compression don't i have to use 93 octane ? Its a 1972 block by the way.

horse power comments? octane comments? and maybe a small comparison between the two would be most appreciated...! -Alex
