  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

As far as the 'right' gearing, if you're going to be serious with 1/4 stuff, best to get your trap RPM where it'll be at peak HP with whatever gearing accomplishes that.

But then I'm not a drag racer per se, nor do I really consider myself a 'keyboard racer'. I'm just another guy with another opinion and some thinking skillz (we all are). This is why I always loved the idea of combining our heads to come up with things, which has happened (more or less) in the past. People may not admit it or even realize it, but we all affect and influence each other.

It shows in the posts I've seen, and makes me happy. :)

That one shows .305/.306 I/E lobe lift (.488/1.6 and .490/1.6). The rest of the specs seem to correspond with the 212 cam card I have.

With the more realistic stamped rockers many would be using (which are closer to 1.5:1 than 1.55:1), intake and exhaust lifts would look more like .458/.459 on the valves.

This of course makes the TA 212-350 cam even more ramp profile intense with an increased lift over the older version, using the same duration numbers.
