I need steering coupler (rag joint) for my 69' chevelle, same rag joint that's on my 70 buick, might be same 68-72 skylark/GS, chevelle, oldsmobile, lemans/GTO. the coupler has 19 teeth and the flat spot where it clamps onto the steering box shaft.

heres a pic that illistrates what Im saying, counting the points of the teeth ( 19 ) from the beginning of the red to end of red line

on a side note: I bought a wrong one from a local yard and they charged me $5 bucks, I'm not gonna pay $20

I think(not positive), that you can get those at NAPA...
    Worth a shot.

You can also get these brand new from Lares Corp. (Google: Lares Corp., I don't remember the web address). I bought a new replacement from them for my 65' Riviera. They are top quality.

yeah that's prolly the one i would need, to be honest all I need is the piece that has the teeth in it, really don't need the rubber or the studs or the safety bracket, I got a rebuild kit where you grind the studs out and replace the rubber with bolt in studs. they have the rebuild kits at most parts stores, likely found in the HELP section. :)

my best bet is probably just to go back to the yard, I'd just hate to pull a bunch before I find the right one :Do No:

I swear I've seen these in the "Help" section of Autozone.
