OK, so the lower "pot joint" on my '71 LeSabre steering column is right beside the 455's #7 header pipe, and the CV-joint boot I had on there for years with the 350 is getting melted and trashed. Anybody got either a source for the oem rubber booty-thing, or a better idea? I'm wrapping the header pipe in header wrap, hopefully that'll help some, but...
