Buick used some weird combos of parts for sure.
I remember awhile back a machinist called the Buick 11 degree locks “liberty locks”
    Ever hear that reference??

Well, looks like you are going to need new valves now too.

Mark, I have more experience with 215, 300 and 340 motors. I've always used bronze liners and 11/32" valves. Usually Ford or Chevy. The 350 has odd diameter on the valve face too. Is there enough room in the head to use 1.94 IN and 1.50 EX Chevy valves. They are taller too and would require different pushrods. On the smaller motors I could just shim up the rocker stands, on the 350 you would have to convert to the Burton stud mount. Not recommending you do that, but if someone was starting from scratch and wanted to use Beehive springs.

Yes there is, that's exactly what I've done.

I'll make a thread with part numbers after I get them assembled.

Cool I’d like to see/hear about this, it’s more involved than what I’m willing to do at this point, as I just want to work with what I have, but if I was starting from scratch, this would be a possibility as I did consider beehive springs awhile back but kinda figured the rest of the set up has to be changed to accommodate the new stuff.

but it might be worth it at this time as the gas is so thru the roof it is taking the fun factor out of cruising around.
I heard today 140$ oil is a real possibility by August. It is supposed to should come down a lot by end of year, at least that is what I got from the market news today. So this might be a good time to do some of these time consuming things until everything calms down some.

I am sorry to say that fuel will be close to 8 bucks a gallon by mid Aug ( it already is in some parts of Cal) and inflation will be close to 10%.
Elections have consequences now don’t they!

I gotta order the TA 1125 springs
Cant make my current TA 1130 springs work, they're pooched
    At 1.735 installed height they're 98/100 lbs
I have to go to 1.59/1.60 to get 140 on the seat.
