Keith Conkle Once you go Black........

Was cruising by a local rinky-dink car lot and found something interesting, a 68 Impala Super Sport with a factory 427/385hp. Bucket seats, console, TH400, but otherwise stripped. No PS or PB. Talk about a bear to drive, I bet this boat weighs 4500 lbs or better. All the numbers match. Just a solid, original old car. As heavy as this thing is how well should I expect it to run? Its not an SS427, just a Super Sport that was ordered with the 427. No dome hood, fender gills, or badges. Took me a while to figure out exactly what it was. What is something like this worth? Mileage is 62,000. I call it a #4 car. A solid foundation, mostly original and complete. Might be something I can use to run with Casey's Biscayne............ :Brow:

    Sounds neat Keith !! :TU:

Value is hard to assess ..... It is pretty neat that it is an "SS", but not an "SS427" car. Pretty cool.
