Anyone know how I can contact Rob, he seems to have vanished!....
I agreed to buy some parts from him about a month ago, but he hasn't even READ the follow-up PM's I sent him, nor has he responded to emails I sent to him thru V8Buick.....
If anyone is communicating with him, please ask him to contact me. Or can someone foreward me his phone number?....

    Thanks,
    Walt

    speedybuick. . Hhhhmmph.

Hi Walt. . Perhaps this isn't the place to say EXACTLY how I feel about dealings with Rob Franklin. Perhaps there would be a better time and better avenue to vent my dealings with him. Perhaps I would even go the extra step to announce a friendly advisory about dealings with ROB. IN FACT. .if you really wanna know about this guy ROB, I've got a file folder full of conversations with ROB to share with anyone who wants to know more! Maybe, just maybe, you should contact me off list. But then again, perhaps I'll give you just a touch of a hint. . . .

    WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-

I sincerely hope you didn't send him any money.

I have bought parts from Rob and have always rec'd great parts just as he listed them. I have called and talked to him on the phone. His packing is the best I have seen. I travel for my job and dont always get to the board or emails for days.

I know I've had quite a few great dealings with Rob, and have never had a problem. As a matter if fact, he made me a GREAT deal on some parts I was very desperate for.

On the same token... it seems that the name Dennis Wheeler sounds very familiar too. (not in a bad way) Have we dealt before Dennis? Your name is ringing a bell, but I can't remember why?

How about the name Wheelz? I have heard plenty of good things about Dennis on the Buick Performance mailing list. I beleive he does pot metal re-chroming/restoration? IF you are on that mailing list, you WOULD CERTIANLY HIS EMAILS !

  8. MANY members both here and on the BPC email list have had excellent dealings with Dennis and/or Rob. The 2 of them obviously had some dealings that did not go as well as they could have. To my knowledge, no one lost their money or parts. I personally think it is time to put this issue to rest. It's done and over with, let's move on. :Smarty:

Nothing but good dealings here either, parts as described and shipped quickly. No headaches, quick emails too!

    Another one in Rob's defense.

We were working out specifics on buying his '65 Sedan and ran into a few speedbumps. Nothing too big but it's on hold for now.

He did say that he was going to be REAL busy in the short term due to work and such. He also hit the road for, I believe, two weeks for some work related travel when we were trying to iron out the details.

He has been prompt in returning e-mails. On the same note, he hasn't returned any of my e-mails to his aol account - so I'm assuming he's got plenty of irons in the fire.

    Rob - If you're out there....Give me a hollar on the 65!!!!!!!!!!!!:Brow:
