Inspired by Rob's Arkansas funeral procession post, and the pic of Brian's birthday cake............I have to share this bit of redneck engineering here. This was posted over on Moparts. I'm still amazed everytime I look at this engineering feat. Check it out. It is a CHASSIS DYNO done up Redneck Style! http://www.josephthompson.net/austin/ Guess all they need is a building around it, eh???? They use the air brakes to apply resisitance.
LMAO ,,,,,,,,,,, Is that what they mean when they say , they're gonna bury me in the back 40 ? ou: o No: WTFF ............ ! :beer  :TU:
Is this thread an excuse...... To dig up all the "redneck" pictures and jokes? Until somebody stops the madness, here's a purty boathouse. Two stories tall, even!
Speaking of beer....... I know these two guys. They're father and son that I know thru work. This is not a "garage" refrigerator. This is what greets you as you enter their "weekend trailer" on one of the lakes here in Oakland County. This refrigerator would make Brian and Casey PROUD!
Are there rednecks in Utah? That chassis dyno is hilarious.......I am suprised to see load cells on it. Gotta give the guy marks for trying....I guess. The high points I like are the car being held on/reacting on what appears to be only a 5/8" bolt with no other tie downs............and does that right side cement truck tire even have lug nuts?
he must have a scale head to tell how many pounds of force he is pulling but how do you put a scale to what your pulling.i have lot's of load cell at the blacktop plant and they are all set for different weights depending on where they are.
