I just bought a 70 Skylark Conv. I was wanting to install some speakers for the new radio. Does anyone have any suggestions or photos? Thanks.

I built a pair of 6 X 9 speaker boxes that fit on either side of the top pump and added a 10" bandpass box near the side of the trunk. The previous owner cut holes int doors for 6 1/2" speakers, which I will be removing in the future.

    Plus 1 100W Sound stream and 1 400W Jensen.

Most of it you can not see (but can definitely hear) and it cost much $$.

    Larry,

Any way you could take some pictures of your set up for me? Thanks.

I would be very hesitant to cut holes in my panels!
A Bazooka subwoofer will fit on the ledge that houses the top pump. You could install boxed speakers that rest on the back floor and can be removed when you wish.
    And that combo sounds great!

I'll see what I can do for pictures this weekend.

When I bought the car there were blown speakers in the doors.
If I could afford new door panels I would put component mids in those kick panel mounts with the tweeters in the original dash mount. That should keep the sound clear and the system invisible.
