This is for a 350, what kind of spark plug wire looms is everyone using. And are you using the stock bolts with the spreaders or hold downs. They don't separate so using them doesn't seem like it would work.
I am using the stock valve cover bolts with the little black plastic separator that stand up on them. I am looking for a better solution also, as mine are a little tight for the wires I am using, which is dicey. I have the same set that Steve shows they are really nice had them a long time. Set up about the same way they bolt to the valve cover. I use Taylor wires with the bent end at the spark plug.
