mhgs it just takes money !!

yup....come up with .070 deep dish and +/- 7cc's. The dishes have a center nub too.

hmmmm very cool, thanks for the update.

Anyone have any regular high compression pistons to measure? I have some but they are in an engine.... I thought I measured 17 cc dish but i could be wrong.

That jives with what I came up with. My measurements were not exact and came up with a max of 9.6cc without subtracting for the nub and the radius in the dish. 7cc sounds right. Thanks!

    Sean,
I did some quick calculations, and based on a 58cc head, .020" steel head gasket, and .050" deck clearence came up with a CR of 9.03:1 for a 17.3cc piston. The 24cc piston calculates to a CR of 8.47:1. I believe what you are referring to as a high compression piston is really the standard piston from '68-'70.

BTW, the 7cc piston calculated to give a 10.08:1 CR.
