Here’s a few of the Buicks spotted so far.

A few more Buick pics from the Power Tour. I saw quite a few more but it was too hot to go get pics. One pic for the closet Pontiac fans too. There must be around 7,000 cars here. 6A9FDCF7-D438-40AF-842D-2DB7CAA9D5E1.jpeg 81D54E84-2451-40F4-9197-A4CC93DAAD1B.jpeg 0BBAC706-AEED-4D09-A628-650D42166B31.jpeg 57A008CC-DDA5-4811-924F-6A8677B43350.jpeg A7341A63-77A8-471C-9F1A-BE61671EBFF9.jpeg

    Nice pics Jim!
Ya know, when I was growing up I always hated the way '57 Pontiacs looked. I always thought they were the worst looking Pontiac EVER, 'til the Aztec came out anyway.

Now I think they look pretty cool...........[IMG]

    Thanx!

The 66 Wildcat is a exact copy of my Fathers that he bought new.. Of course the Buick bug started with this car when I was 5:D
Same color inside and out and a post car.. I think they look better with white wall tires.
The posts though weren't chromed like this car, was it a option?

The car was a leaker though from both front and rear windows unfortunately starting about when it was 1 year old.
In High School around 1978 or 79 it had only 49,000 miles but looked like it could of had a million.. Always ran nice and strong and only repairs was a new starter and the middle CV joint and the usual broken brake lines twice.
I stupidly cracked the block though but probably a good thing as I was young, very stupid and a bit reckless.

This was my first PT and I will do it again. It wasn't anything like I expected it to be though and had to come to terms with that.

Neither, its just a different mindset. For me I had to get to the place that it was about the drive to the venue and not the venue.
I'm used to going to car shows, that means you can't wait to get to the show to see all the cars. With the PT it is about making it through the week, some people didn't even park at the venue they just rode through the gates to say they were there. It really is about the drive.
Like I said, just a different mindset.
