Well as it would be my wife and I went to the school to talk about my son (another story) After we finished we decided to go to the Harley Davidson shop , there is a cafe that serves killer BBQ sandwiches. We arrived about 8 minutes too early for them to open and so while we waited we walked thru the HD's and she says" MAN these are way over priced!!!" And I say " well those are the high end bikes I want one of these over here" So wwe walked down there to the sportsters and found the orange one 2004 XL1200R That I wanted. Looked it over and she see's the price and says "hey thats not a badprice We should look into getting one" :3gears: :3gears: :3gears: :3gears: :3gears: :3gears: :3gears: :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer SOOoooooo she called her CU at work and is having the payment direct paid and I get it a check in about 3 days for my new toy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO what did your wife buy you today at lunch!!!!!!!!
sweeet.... i'm different.. i want that cody project bike they did on american choppers.. which reminds me.. starting tomorrow OCC is going to be at the birch run expo center about 10 minutes from me... too bad tickets are freakin $30 and i work.. otherwise i'd go and take a ton of cool pics of their bikes and a bunch of other custom bikes i'm not married.. but the girl i'm talking to.. i'm sure if she had the money she'd buy me somethin cool
good choice and the best color curently offerd, in my opinion. only harley that even remotely interests me is that exact one!!! hope it warms up soon so you can enjoy it a lot!
I also opted for the drag pipe exhaust a K&N air filter and a jetting job on the carb!!!! I cant wait for the first ride home!!!
I'm walking back to the mail truck for lunchbreak today in the zero-degree windchill weather, and there's my wife waiting for me in the station wagon with a nice hot Wendys burger and fries! I was totally surprised! Its no Harley, but darn that hot meal was nice today!

It was cool to see the look on his face when paul sr gave him the keys and said "it's yours." American choppers is cool. The bikes they build are awesome. :beer especially the "fire bike" for NY firefighters to resemble the terrible 9/11/01 day.
