building a 72 skylark convertible. had factory air, but I have removed the underdash and firewall box to do a smooth firewall. My projected goal is to run a March 455ci Buick Serpentine Conversion with the a/c compressor, 4 way bulkhead going through the old blower motor hole, a cleaned up stock condenser, factory vents, and an aftermarket evaporator. question is who would be the best set up for this for the buick and why? oh yeah, forgot to mention. the firewall is already smoothed and painted so I can not bolt through it or weld to it to mount the evaporatorou: will have to be mounted from the dash or some other method...I know, I know...slight over sight
Anyone seen any skylarks with smooth firewalls running A/C and if so do you know what they were running for an a/c system. I have seen the good comments about the Vintage Air Gen IV just not sure if that is designed for a smooth firewall Has anyone used classic auto air or Old Air Products? thanks
