I went through pretty much the same thing with a different individual on here but didn't bother posting it. I probably should have. He was looking for dash parts. We had a deal I thought but he came up with the old I'm a little short of cash right now. Anyway I still see his posts on here saying he wants to make a purchase now and then. Every time I see one I get pi--ed all over again. Anyway i know how aggravating it can be. Bob H.
It seems we have some children here who visit this web site, they respond to adds ,say they want or are intrested in parts for sale, then refuse to respond back .Really a bunch of assholes!
Couple years back a new kid from Maine was asking, almost begging, for a 350-4V intake for a '72. Teenager, student , no car funds. I offered to give it to him, all I asked was the shipping. He agreed & I'm still waiting, lost cause by now.
I have 4 things boxed and ready for a long time....if any of those guys reply to anything else I sell I will tell them so sorry you lost out by not following thru on the other items you said you wanted....I know sometimes we get lost in the shuffle...I could call out names but I wont....Steve
Sounds familiar. Been there, done that, got the badge and lost out of pocket shipping costs sending free parts to an ungrateful immature pissant from NY..... don't get me started! On the bright side - he's been banned from this forum.:blast:
