Hey guys, What's the best way to clean a black vinyl top and make it look nice and new? It's a 67 Skylark. Thanks

Get some vinyl top cleaner at the local parts store, scrub it down well, and put a protectant on it. I used to buy actual vinyl top polish that looked similar to shoe polish...it would make the top on my old chevelle look new!

I've done similar steps in the past but it didn't seem to last long. I'll try that thanks!

i have used black shoe polish and polished it like army boots, make sure you rub it in all the way, and wipe off access or you will leave finger prints when you touch it. good luck

Thanks Ryan, I'll try that! I know that if u do a second coat on your shoes and mist a little water on them b4 u buff, they shine pretty nice! Maybe the same would work on the vinyl top. Todd
