skylark drum brakes

In need of front drum set up except drums and spindles...bought rebuild kits for brakes...in need of backing plate and bolts to spindle and whatever hardware i might need in order to mount the new wheel cylinders, springs ect. Another question....are the ball joints pressed in for my year?....Doing the susp. and the control arms look like a ball of grease, literally so its hard to tell. Thanks

Brake parts. .

Hi . I'm parting out a 65 Lark 4 door. I could take off what you need: backing plates complete with brake cylinders, shoes, springs, clips, doodads, kanutent valves, washers, little eeeny weeeny screw thingys, bolts. . basically everything except the spindles. A deal at $90 plus shipping.

now that im thinking about it my spindles might be bad....how much would you sell w/ spindles?

Hi Chris. Thanks for the reply. I am not ready to part with the spindles as of yet. Ya see, I don't have any problem with sending you the backing plates and such, However, I am still in need of having this car be a "roller" until the last minute to haul the carcass off to the scrapheap! :TU: Sooo, to answer you, If you're not in some kind of hurry, I will put you on the "list" of wants/needs from this car and when its last days are here, I'll let you know when I can remove and ship the spindles. COULD BE a few weeks?.. o No: even Months? Let me know what you think about this schedule.

i definitly need the backing plate and the hardware...dont have time to wait for the spindles if its going to be months but im thinking im going to need them....put me on the list for the spindles, but ill take the brake hardware from you. I guess if the spindles are bad they'll eat up my bearings but i think i can do with new bearings for now. thanks

I dont think it would fit nut it might I have a complete set up off a 71 GS I converted to disc . every part is still connected .
