I am in need of a black convertible top boot for the 70 Skylark Custom. There is no boot at all right now, and it not only looks awful, (ok, so awful might not be the right word... you know what I mean) but if it's the least bit windy, the top material gets buffeted around like crazy. I don't want to end up tearing the top material (it has not ONE rip or tear). The top is a lot more expensive than a boot!!! I've seen a few sources around the 'net. Anyone had any experience? Which are the best? And they need to have shipping to Canada, of course! Thanks!!!
Order one from a Chevelle supplier like NPD and you are set. If you can't find one to ship to Canada.....let me know......NPD is just 80 miles from me and I can ship it to you if needed.

hey Dave, if you haven't ordered yet just thought I would mention try to find a place that does NOT ship UPS, those guys will hit you hard with BS charges and fees. Trust me on that. If you can find a place that uses parcel post you are laughing. Legendary has great stuff, but being you need black (ie, the easiest color on the planet to match) you can pick where you buy from, I believe legendary uses UPS...
I did order the boot from Legendary. The fit is perfect and it looks great. It was shipped UPS, and it added $70!! to the cost of the boot for shipping, duty, and taxes. I will say this though: I ordered the boot on a Friday afternoon, and it arrived at my door the following Tuesday.
See that is the thing, there should NOT be any duty, its made in the USA and should be duty free via free trade agreement. UPS just charges what they want, like their own little country...but hey glad you got it now get out an enjoy the car!
