This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

Is this forum for those that do not have a Buick? I ask because I see non Buick guys getting beat up. Some may have had Buicks in the past but have moved along still liking this forum.

I think it’s like being at the GS Nationals. We were all drawn by our passion for Buicks and, once here, made friends with whom we discuss many topics. So yes, people who don’t own Buicks are welcome, but how well their comments are received depend on their history, tone and attitude. Especially if your remarks are along the lines of ‘I’m glad my Buick’s gone; I love my new chevy’ or ‘ls everything!’.

    1972Mach1 Just some M.M.O.G. guy.....

I don't own a Buick at the moment, and everyone is still really nice to me. I even sold my Riviera to buy a Cadillac, and nearly all the guys seem to really love that car and my "build thread". Of course, I still love Buicks and always will. I don't come on to the Buick forums expecting to go pro(brand whatever) and saying I like it better than my Buicks I've owned and not expect to get lambasted for it, just like I don't go on the BBFord forums and tell those guys how great Buick 455s are. I'm still a Buick guy, as much as I am any other brand of vehicle, I just don't have one right now. A lot of guys seem to like to push buttons for whatever reason and start arguments or whatever you want to call them just for the sake of listening to themselves type. I'm not one of those guys and I don't understand their reasoning, anyway.

So yes. Buick or not. ALL are welcome. So many cool cars built. Why limit yourself to one type of anything? Careful though. Don't upset the kia fans...
